EMERGING: A Course In Creativity

EMERGING: An Immersive Choreography & Production Experience

EMERGING is an immersive three-month professional development experience designed for emerging choreographers who desire to expand their artistic voice and develop the skills necessary to create, produce, and direct successful dance productions.

Rooted in a collegiate curriculum model, EMERGING bridges the gap between artistic creation and professional production. Participants are guided through the complete choreographic process—from developing an initial concept to presenting a fully produced performance—while gaining the practical knowledge needed to navigate the professional dance industry.

The program culminates in a professionally produced showcase, providing each participating choreographer the opportunity to present original work with theatrical lighting, sound, production support, and a professional-quality video recording of their performance.
